The candidate will have to appear for the Typing Test of the selected application which will be 100 wpm speed for Stenographer Group D and 80 cm for Stenographer Group C.

1. To apply for SSC for the first time, register on the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in.

2. After entering your general information, you will have to upload a live photograph. For this, a QR code will be displayed on your dashboard for SSC, which can be scanned to upload the live photograph or you will also get the option to upload the photograph from your webcam.

3. If the applicant leaves his application incomplete for any reason, he can view or submit his application by logging in through the login option.

4. After registering with SSC, any new forms issued by SSC can be filled only from your old account; creation of a new account is not permitted.
