Eligibility Criteria for The post of Tradesmen 

• Candidates should have Diploma/Degree or NTC/NAC from any recognized/Govt/Private affiliated institute by NCTVT/NCST/SCVT. The Candidate should have 10th pass and must possess a valid certificate of training of Level-II in UT from ISNT with good experience in relevant trade.

Trade wise distribution and reservation breakdown

• MACHINIST (CNC OPERATOR) SKD : Precision machining for structures like 155mm Dhanush, LFG, MBT, Armoured Vehicles etc.The applicant should be proficient in Siemens/Fanuc CNC programming, instrument setting, part alignment and operation of measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge etc.Also, should be able to operate at least 2 CNC machines simultaneously as per the product requirement.
• FITTER (G) : Assembling/Dismantling/Fitting of Several assemblies/subassemblies/components of 105 mm Dhanush, 105/37 LFG to be executed by fitting Elements, hand grinder, hand drilling machine etc.and related measurement tasks, related matching tasks, and necessary task management tasks must be completed within the stipulated timeframe.Assembling/Dismantling/Fitting task must be done strictly as per approprite Assembling/Dismantling/Fitting standards/drawings.
• FITTER (ELECTRONIC) : Repairing, Maintenance & installation of Electronics Equipment pertaining machine instrument Electronic Telephone & Electronic Instruments, Reading and Interpretation of Electronics and electrical schematic drawings, reading of PLC great skills and parameter related to CNC controllers of Siemens and Fanuc makes, Installation  of VFD/AC Servo Drives, Servomotors, repairing of telephone instruments.
• MILLWRIGHT: Maintenance, installation and repair of mechanical machinery and industrial equipment/hydraulic and pneumatic systems, reading and understanding of technical drawings, alignment and balancing of rotating equipment, operation of rigging.and hoisting to move heavy machinery, Lubrication of machinery, Fitting/cutting of components/ spares.
• WELDER : Perform TIG/MIG Welding on assemblies like 155 mm Dhanush, LFG etc.standards. He should independency handle fitting related
  tasks (chamfering, grinding, cleaning, pre/post heating, DP testing) without  need of fitter support.
• EXAMINER : Haul out QC Dimensional Inspection of any component as per AHSP drawing and specification, Have able to read Vernier Callppers, Inside/Outside Micrometeres, Digital Height Gauges, Slip Gauges. Also, will have able to read blue prints, make out indepency calculations involving elementary trigonometry, checking up of alignments of simple machined components on surface plates.

• Candidates should put the required documents and application form in a sealed envelope and drop it in the box kept at the main gate of GCF factory.
• Applications should reach the Chief General Manager, Gun Carriage Factory, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh- 482011 by 12 January 2026. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
